- A field contains a double quote (") that isn't escaped, e.g. 24" screen.
- The file was saved in Windows/ANSI encoding instead of UTF-8.
- Line breaks inside a description field are not wrapped in quotes.
How to fix it
- Open the line number from the error and look for quotes inside text.
- Write a quote inside a field as two quotes (""), or replace it with ″ or the word inch.
- Save the file as “CSV UTF-8”, not plain “CSV”.
- Validate the file before uploading it again.
