Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SheetFix (the "Service"), operated by SheetFix ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

SheetFix helps you detect and fix data-quality issues in spreadsheet files and convert them to other formats. Files are processed locally in your browser. We do not receive or store the contents of your files.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Plans, payment and renewal

• The Free plan includes 1 file per month.
• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Prices are charged in US dollars (USD). Applicable taxes are shown at checkout before payment.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

4. Cancellation and right of withdrawal

You can cancel at any time via "Manage subscription". Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period; we do not issue refunds for partial periods unless required by law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. By starting to use the paid features immediately after purchase, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal lapses once the service has been fully provided, as permitted by Directive 2011/83/EU.

5. Your data and responsibility

You keep all rights to your files. You are solely responsible for the data you process, for having a lawful basis to process any personal data contained in it, and for reviewing all changes before exporting. Always keep a copy of your original file.

6. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Service, attempt to bypass usage limits, reverse engineer it, resell it without permission, or use it for unlawful purposes.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Automated cleaning suggestions may be incomplete or incorrect. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your requirements.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, profits or business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email at least 30 days in advance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain applicable.
